Search engine optimization
Help customers find your products and services in search.
When this service helps
People search in different ways as they work out what to buy. Someone comparing desk materials needs different information from someone ready to order a particular size. We review how those searches connect to your pages, identify technical problems that get in the way and plan improvements to the content.
What we look at first
We begin with a search and page inventory. On a store with several similar collections, we look for pages competing for the same query, product variants with unclear canonical links and filters that expose empty results. A short repair list gives the development team a sensible order of work.
The scope of work
- Technical and crawl audit
- Search intent and category mapping
- On-page briefs and internal linking
What you receive
For each priority page, you receive the intended search, the customer question, the recommended page type and useful internal links. We agree on a baseline before publishing. A page that earns visits but rarely leads to an enquiry goes back through the review with sales or merchandising.
What we need from you
Your website address is enough to begin a conversation. For a fuller review, useful inputs include access to search reports, a list of important products or services and the questions your sales team hears most often. We also need to know who can make changes to the website, so the recommendations fit the way your business works.
Putting the recommendations to work
Some fixes belong with a developer; others need better copy or a clearer collection structure. We explain that difference and put the work in order. After changes go live, we check that the intended pages can be found and revisit the search terms bringing people in. Rankings are part of the picture. Whether those visits help the business matters too.
How we review progress
We follow the searches and visits relevant to the business, including people who have not searched for your brand by name. We review enquiries or orders where that information is available and use it alongside search performance to decide what to improve.
